Dr. Rona Wadle
Dr. Rona Wadle, D.O. is the owner and medical director of Meadowbrook Urgent Care. She attended Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and received her doctorate in 1998. She interned at Bi-County Community Hospital/Henry Ford Health Center in Warren, MI and completed her emergency medicine residency at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, MI in 2002. Over the next several years she worked as an emergency medicine physician at Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI and St. Josephs Hospital in Pontiac, MI. In 2007, she left her position as an emergency medicine physician to establish Meadowbrook Urgent Care. With this new concept of urgent care, Dr. Wadle is focused on enriching the standard of patient care that is lacking in the emergency room. Dr. Wadle has long demonstrated a commitment to patient satisfaction and service well evidenced by the fact that prior to attending medical school she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Boston College and worked as a registered nurse at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston.
Dr. Rona Wadle was born and raised in Michigan and attended Detroit Country Day School. She currently resides in the city of Birmingham. She is a member of numerous societies, which include the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians, American College of Emergency Physicians and the Urgent Care Association of America.
Dr. Jonathan Leischner
Dr. Jonathan Leischner, D.O., graduated from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2010. Upon completing medical school, he moved to Michigan and is currently completing his Emergency Medicine Residency at Oakwood Hospital and his clinical faculty at the Michigan State University, where he aides in the education of future physicians. Dr. Leischner grew up on the Oregon Coast and attended the University of Oregon for his undergraduate studies. Prior to medical school, he spent a year abroad, volunteering for multiple medical organizations in West Africa. When not providing excellent medical attention, Dr. Leischner enjoys spending time with his family and participates in multiple professional medical societies including; the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians, American College of Emergency Physicians and the Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association. Dr. Leischner is an experienced addition to and valuable member of the Meadowbrook Urgent Care team.
Kristina Camaj, P.A.-C
Kristina Camaj, P.A., attended Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan where she received her Bachelor’s of Science and was a Dean’s List honor student. She went on to attend the University of Detroit Mercy where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Board Certified by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician’s Assistants), Kristina’s medical experience and expertise in emergency medicine serves our patients well. Her professional affiliations include the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants (MAPA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). In addition to Kristina’s extensive background in emergency medicine, she is also certified in the application of cosmetic treatments such as Botox®, Dysport® and Juvederm®.
